Teenage striker Paul Gallagher will be available for Blackburn this weekend as they look to pull away from the relegation zone against Portsmouth.

Gallagher has missed three weeks after tearing a hamstring but came through a reserves match on Monday night without any problems.

Italian defender Lorenzo Amoruso is also available after playing in the same game and midfielder Steven Reid could also be in contention to be in the squad for the first time since early December.

Blackburn have not won at home since November 29 and a victory against Portsmouth would see them go seven points clear of the south coast side.
