Blind Mr Tayto makes Australian TV debut, bumps into everything

Ireland's favourite anthropomorphic potato made his Australian television debut on St Patrick's Day.

It went ... okay.

Appearing on Channel 10, he was unveiled to much fanfare — but instantly dropped his crisps, then bumped into the speakers, and had to be rescued from toppling by one of the presenters.

Well, maybe he got the celebration started early, eh?

Still, seemed liked the presenters had good craic with the giant walking potato's best attempt at performing a jig.

But sure he's always up to these high jinks on his extended trip. Look at him hanging out on the beach in Sydney:

He must be baked in that suit. Baked. Ha.
