Stanislav Varga and Mo Camara spent their first day of Celtic’s American tour in a Boston hospital.
The defenders were sent for treatment and checks after complaining of sore throats and high temperatures.
But manager Gordon Strachan does not think either player will have to be quarantined.
The former Southampton boss said: “I don’t think they’ll have to be kept away from everyone else and I wouldn’t expect the infection to spread. I’m quite sure they should be able to play before the tour ends.”
Varga, who has signed a one-year contract, said: “It is good to get it sorted out.”
