Lingfield’s National Hunt meeting on Monday is subject to a 7.30am precautionary inspection on raceday morning.
Although course officials are in bullish mood, the threat of frost remains a going concern.
Clerk of the course Neil MacKenzie Ross said: “I’m very hopeful we should be fine.
“There’s no more rain forecast, but there are differing forecasts in terms of what can happen overnight.
“There could be a cloud-break and potential frost, with temperatures just dropping below freezing. But, on the whole, I’d be confident of racing.”
