A twelve-year-old tycoon has been lecturing Hong Kong business leaders on the future of Silicon Valley.

Keith Peiris draws a six-figure salary as president and chief executive of a multi-million dollar website design firm, Cyberteks Design.

Keith, who is still at school in Ontario, Canada, is on a trade mission to the Far East. He calmly delivered a speech to Hong Kong business leaders on subjects including the implications of China's entry into the World Trade Organisation.

He said that being the youngest member of the firm is not a problem.

He says: "I am the boss. They don't mind taking orders from me."

Keith's idol is Bill Gates although some potential clients are almost put off by his age.

He said: "People don't think they can trust a 12-year-old boy, but the problem fades away as they see the quality of my work."
