Prediction Dynamics receives €1.34 million funding
Prediction Dynamics has closed its Series A investment round with a second phase injection of €1.34m from ACT Venture Capital and Enterprise Ireland.
The investment brings the total venture capital raised by the company to €2m over the two stages of the deal.
Enterprise Ireland invested in the company for the first time in this round.
Dublin company Prediction Dynamics is a trading and risk management software company. It develops and markets CrucibleTM, a financial prediction infrastructure product that enables organisations to build accurate, predictive time-series models for financial markets.
Crucible is designed to provide a conduit between leading edge financial theory and modern financial markets.
The software is aimed at organisations and users such as hedge funds, financial risk managers and research groups engaged in developing and refining quantitative trading strategies.
The company was founded in June 2000 by Dr John Carney and Professor Padraig Cunningham.
