Funny egg
A Chinese man was shocked when one of his hens laid a bowling-pin shaped egg.
Zhang Yunfeng, 75, from Jize in northern China's Hebei Province revealed he became worried when he heard one of his ten hens clucking loudly and rushed to the chicken coop to discover the cause of her distress where he made the unusual discovery.
He said: "When I arrived I saw her produce a bowling-pin shaped egg. It's the first time I saw such a weird shaped egg."
This is not the first time a hen has laid an egg of this shape, last year a UK woman reported the same thing.
