Tomorrow's National Hunt meeting at Bangor is subject to a precautionary inspection at 7.30am.

While the course is raceable at present despite a night of freezing temperatures, clerk of the course Ed Gretton is fearful of a sharper frost hitting the track tonight.

“There is some frost around this morning as it dipped just below zero overnight, but we’re raceable at the moment,” said Gretton.

“However, it could get a little colder tonight and if it gets down to minus 2C or minus 3C, that might give us a bit of a problem.”
