British police hunting a paedophile who filmed himself sexually assaulting young boys before posting the footage on the internet today appealed for information.

The Metropolitan Police Service’s Paedophile Unit released an image in a bid to trace the man, who is white and aged about 40.

Officers recovered internet footage showing the man abusing a number of children who are thought to be between six and ten years old.

The blurred image shows the overweight suspect dressed in loose red trousers and a black top reclining on a bed next to a boy while another youngster looks on.

The man is thought to have visited countries including Egypt, Malaysia and Italy and has strong links to Dubai. Police believe the assaults happened abroad.

He speaks with a northern accent and is possibly from the Manchester area, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Met’s Paedophile Unit on 0207 161 2780, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
