Greece midfielder Stelios Giannakopoulos is losing his fitness fight for tomorrow’s quarter-final clash with France.

Greece midfielder Stelios Giannakopoulos is losing his fitness fight for tomorrow’s quarter-final clash with France.

The Bolton player missed Sunday’s 2-1 defeat to Russia with a calf injury which is improving but seems likely to sideline him once again. Central defender Traianos Dellas continues to be troubled by a back problem.

Zissis Vryzas, the man whose goal against the Russians ultimately earned the Greeks their place in the last eight, is suspended after picking up a second booking, but Georgios Karagounis is available after serving his one-match ban.

Team (probable): Nikopolidis, Seitaridis, Fyssas, Venetidis, Dellas, Kapsis, Karagounis, Zagorakis, Katsouranis, Charisteas, Nikolaidis.
