Bohemians play St Patrick's Athletic for the second time in a month tonight looking to close in on second place in the table and a European spot (7.45pm).
A victory at Dalymount Park over their Dublin rivals, coupled with defeat for Drogheda in their top of the table clash with leaders Shelbourne tonight, will see Bohs leapfrog United into the runner-up spot.
The Gypsies are unbeaten in 11 games in the Premier Division, including a 2-1 win at St Pat’s on September 10.
Player-manager Gareth Farrelly has to plan without team captain Kevin Hunt who is serving a one-match ban,and he is still nursing Glen Crowe, Fergal Harkin and Ken Oman back to full fitness for the run-in to the end of the campaign.
All three have returned to training and could play a part tonight. Central defender Oman has recovered from an ankle injury while midfielder Harkin and leading goalscorer Crowe have both been out for a month with knee problems.
Pat’s, meanwhile, welcome back defender Dessie Byrne and midfielder Keith Fahey from suspension and will be at full strength.
