Allianz Football League Division 4 leaders Wicklow maintained their unbeaten run thanks to a late draw with Fermanagh, while there were also wins for Carlow and Longford today.

Paddy McWalter was Wicklow's saviour as the Garden County side snatched a 2-07 to 0-13 draw with Fermanagh at Brewster Park in Enniskillen.

In a tense encounter, Wicklow duo John Dalton and Leighton Glynn and Fermanagh's Barry Mulrone were all shown two yellow cards each.

Fermanagh began strongly and claimed the last three points before the break to take a 0-07 to 0-04 interval lead.

Wicklow replied in strong fashion on the restart thanks to a James Stafford goal with a Glynn penalty levelling the tie.

Substitute Ryan Jones was Fermanagh's top scorer with 0-06.

Meanwhile, at Dr Cullen Park, home side Carlow held out for a 1-11 to 1-10 win over a determined Clare side.

Two players were sent off for Clare with both Mark Tubridy and John Hayes sent to the line by referee Keith O'Brien during this closely-contested game.

Kilkenny's fortunes in Division 4 continued at a low ebb at Pearse Park where as Longford inflicted a 4-24 to 0-05 defeat on them.

This afternoon's London v Leitrim fixture was called off due to a waterlogged pitch at Ruislip, while Roscommon had a bye for this round.
