WATCH: Isaac Boss determined to make the most of his chance to shine

Isaac Boss knows he faces a battle for a place in Joe Schmidt's final 31-man World Cup squad, and is ready to take his chance to impress this afternoon.

The Leinster player starts at scrum-half against Scotland in the Aviva Stadium, having seen provincial teammate Eoin Reddan start in the position last week, and Kieran Marmion impress when he came off the bench.

Isaac Boss speaks on the fight for the scrum-half position going into the World Cup, Ireland’s victory over Wales and the need to take his chance.

With Munster's Conor Murray certain to be in the squad, Schmidt has to choose which of the other contenders also deserve a place.

Boss believes both Reddan and Marmion made cases for inclusion last week, now it is up to him against the Scots.

Breakingnews.ie head sports reporter Shaun Cronin talks to Irish Examiner journalist Brendan O’Brien about the team selection.
