Munster's Alan Quinlan faces surgery this morning after sustaining a hand injury on Saturday.

Munster's Alan Quinlan faces surgery this morning after sustaining a hand injury on Saturday.

The 33-year-old damaged ligaments in his thumb during the Irish side's win over Newport-Gwent Dragons at Musgrave Park.

He has been ruled out of action for eight weeks as a result of the injury.
