New world number one Vijay Singh completed an impressive turnaround despite bad weather interrupting his first round at the Bell Canadian Open.
Singh finished the round three under par after finding his form following a disastrous start in Oakville.
Resuming after rain had prevented him playing more than five holes yesterday, Singh slipped to four over after the back nine, which he played first.
But he then turned it round with five birdies and an eagle to post 28 (seven under) on the front nine to leave him two shots behind leader Joey Sindelar.
Singh cannot be knocked off number one spot this week, regardless of the outcome of the tournament.
