Camp pop group the Scissor Sisters convinced Elton John to help them put a recording of Judy Garland's voice on one of their tracks.

The eccentric singers wanted to put Garland's voice at the end of song The Other Side - but had to get permission from the Garland estate.

Frontman Jake Shears says: "Elton helped us get permission from the Judy Garland estate to use her voice at the end of our song The Other Side. I'd heard bootlegs of her reading her autobiography. Some moments she's off her trolley... but it's beautiful."
