A woman who won €424,710 off a €10 seven horse accumulator at the weekend is to collect her winnings in Dublin on Wednesday.

A woman who won €424,710 off a €10 seven horse accumulator at the weekend is to collect her winnings in Dublin on Wednesday.

Catherine Egan, a civil servant and a mother of two from Roscommon, will be presented with her cheque at Paddy Power's office in Baggot Street at midday.

The winning bet - a 42,000 to 1 shot - is the largest paid out on an accumulator bet in Ireland.

Catherine and her husband Padraic, who initially thought they had won around €5,000, now plan to take a family holiday in Disneyland, Florida.
