Hewlett Packard Ireland has won a contract with Ryanair for the supply, installation and maintenance of two HP 9000 servers at the airline's Dublin Airport computer centre.
The €500,000 contract is part of Ryanair's plan to expand its network of routes (now 125) across Europe.
The new servers are part of an upgraded engineering system that will enable Ryanair to handle maintenance and planning for its expanding fleet of aircraft. HP won the contract in association with Memorex Telex.
Ryanair aims to have an annual traffic of circa 24 million passengers in 2003.
