Ireland manager Brian Kerr's injury headache is fast becoming a crisis, with both Steve Finnan and Stephen Reid ruled out of the upcoming Euro 2004 qualifiers against Georgia and Albania.
Kerr drafted Arsenal's on-loan striker Graham Barrett into the senior squad last night after scans revealed that Finnan and Reid were unfit to play.
Ian Harte, Gary Kelly, Jason McAteer and Clinton Morrison have also withdrawn from the squad due to injury, while Robbie Keane is unlikely to play in the Georgia game this Saturday following the death of his father, Robbie Snr, on Sunday night.
