Paul McCartney will give away his latest studio album in a British newspaper - in a bid to win over a new army of fans.
The LP, 'Memory Almost Full', was released by coffee giant Starbucks' imprint Hear Music last year, but has sold a mere 100,000 copies to date.
The free giveaway is expected to move more stock, with the newspaper reaching up to two million homes in the UK.
The managing director of the Daily Mail said: "If you look at how he came to do the Starbucks' album deal, it was a result of feeling unhappy with the music industry and looking at alternative ways of distribution.
"I can't think of anyone else who has come up with the right alternative distribution than us."
Prince pioneered this method of distribution, after releasing 'Planet Earth' free inside The Mail on Sunday newspaper.
