A row has broken out in California about the famous Hollywood sign.
The California state commission is currently deciding whether to turn Hollywood into an independent city.
They have said that the new city should be responsible for the sign if it breaks away from Los Angeles.
But Los Angeles City Councillor Tom La Bonge, who represents the area where the sign is located, says the sign will never leave Los Angeles.
"He will do anything in his power to keep it in Los Angeles," his spokeswoman said.
The sign, whose letters are 50 feet high and 30 feet wide, was sold to the city in 1944 by MH Sherman Co.
It originally advertised the real estate company Hollywoodland but the last four letters eventually fell off.
