Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and her rocker husband Pete Wentz have become parents for the first time after welcoming a baby boy.
The pop star, 24, gave birth to son Bronx Mowgli Wentz on Thursday night at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
The baby weighed in at seven pounds, 11 ounces (3.23 kilograms).
A spokesperson for the couple tells People.com: "Ashlee, Pete and baby Bronx are all healthy and happy, and thank everyone for their well wishes!"
Simpson-Wentz and the Fall Out Boy bassist, 29, announced the pregnancy in May - just a few weeks after they were married in an intimate ceremony at her parents' Los Angeles home.
