One of Australia's equine superstars, Weekend Hussler, continued his winning run with a stylish victory in the Underwood Stakes at Caulfield.
Racing in excess of a mile for the first time, the Melbourne Cup possible was winning at the highest level for the seventh time in 15 starts.
Ross McDonald's four-year-old gathered in Pompeii Ruler and Maldivian inside the closing stages of the nine furlong event to win going away by three-quarters of a length.
