Rocker Bruce Springsteen is refusing to commit to taking part in 2008's US presidential race, following his disappointment at the outcome of the most recent election.
Springsteen joined a long list of stars who played in the Vote For Change Tour in the hope that Democrat Senator John Kerry would defeat President George W Bush in November's race.
But with Republican Bush retaining his position as America's leader, Springsteen has opted not to get too excited about the next presidential voting opportunity.
He says: "I'd have to see if I was useful in any fashion and how I felt about things when it came around again. I don't have any political plan. It was something I did because that's where my work and my experience brought me at the time.
"Some folks thought I could be useful, and I was glad to pitch in my two cents. I prefer my day job."
