Two people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was shot in the head as he left a pub in Britain.

Two people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was shot in the head as he left a pub in Britain.

The 44-year-old victim had just stepped out of the Belgrave pub in Aigburth, Liverpool, with friends when he was targeted at point-blank range by a lone gunman.

Merseyside Police are questioning a man and woman over the incident on Thursday night.

A police spokesman said: “Police have arrested a 48-year-old female and a 53-year-old male, both from the Garston area, on suspicion of murder.”
