Boylesports bookmakers have been given the go ahead to take over as primary sponsor of Louth GAA teams for the next three years.

Boylesports bookmakers have been given the go ahead to take over as primary sponsor of Louth GAA teams for the next three years.

Wee County chiefs were always confident of pulling off the deal which will net them a considerable six figure sum despite GAA reservations and confirmed they had eventually got their way.

Louth secretary Pat Toner said: "There were a number of points that we had to clarify, but we got approval from the people that count and Boylesports will be our sponsors next year."
