'Secret' Harry Potter titles revealed

The secret of the final two Harry Potter books may be out, it was reported today.

The sixth and seventh instalments could be called Harry Potter And The Mudblood Revolt and Harry Potter And The Quest Of The Centaur.

Both names were registered as trade marks with the UK Patent Office six weeks ago.

They were registered by a company called Seabottom Productions – which, according to The Sun in England, shares an office with the London lawyers of Warner Brothers, the studio which made the Potter films.

If genuine, they provide a huge clue to the content of JK Rowling’s final books about the schoolboy wizard.

But Potter fans pointed out that other titles had been registered over the years – such as Harry Potter And The Pyramids Of Furmat – which have never seen the light of day.

The revelation sparked keen debate on Potter websites, with most agreeing that the titles were just a way of keeping people guessing.

One said: “These titles are too lame and cheesy. I believe JK Rowling will surprise us with something a bit more creative.”
