Wildfires destroy one third of a town in Canada

Nearly 7,000 people have been evacuated from their homes in North Canada, as wildfires spread through the town of Slave Lake overnight.

Nearly 7,000 people have been evacuated from their homes in North Canada, as wildfires spread through the town of Slave Lake overnight.

It has been reported more than a third of the buildings in the town has been destroyed.

No deaths or injuries have been reported.
