James Morrison cancelled his show in Brisbane last night due to a severe dose of laryngitis.

In a statement, promoter The Frontier Touring Company said doctors had strongly advised the singer against performing.

It was the second time the star had cancelled a show during his Australian tour. After cancelling his show in Melbourne last Tuesday, also due to a severe case of laryngitis, James bravely soldiered through two Sydney concerts.

At the conclusion of Saturday night's) show, James had an emergency meeting with a throat specialist and was strongly advised against performing last night.

A spokesperson said: "James is absolutely devastated and hopes to return to Australia in the near future to repay his fans for their understanding."
