Well, this is just adorable.
Peter Pan and Wendy are more than just the leads in the production of Peter Pan: the Never Ending story in Glasgow. They're also Sandor Sturbl and Lilly-Jane, a young couple who happen to act in the same production.
So Sandor, being a romantic genius, decided that the story they'd played through many times before needed a different ending.
Instead of stealing a kiss from Wendy in traditional Pan style, Sturbl stops the show to declare his love for Lilly-Jane, and, with her family in the audience, ask for her hand in marriage.
With everything that has been said the last couple of days I still like this one the most: 'When a Pan loves a woman!'

And Wendy said yes, before running off into the sunset (exit stage left).
Seriously, @SandorSturbl and I are overwhelmed with all the love being sent to us on our engagement! Thank you so much xxxxx

And the video footage that's gone viral from the Scottish Daily Record tops it all off with a quote from the author of Peter Pan:
"The moment you doubt whether you can fly, you cease forever to be able to do it."
