Brooklyn asks mum's permission to stay out late at film premiere

Brooklyn Beckham had to ask his mum's permission to stay at a film premiere on Tuesday evening.

The 15-year-old son of power couple David and Victoria Beckham was seen sneaking a quick phone call in to his fashion designer mother to check if he was allowed to stay out late, despite it being a school night.

The teen heartthrob - who is rumoured to be dating 'Kick-Ass' actress Chloe Grace Moretz - was chatting with celebrities including Elizabeth Hurley and former England footballer Sol Campbell at the swanky premiere in Kensington, west London, but seemed worried his parents may cut his evening short with an early curfew.

An onlooker at the screening of the new romantic-comedy 'The Rewrite' told The Sun newspaper: "Brooklyn was a surprise attendee and everyone was excited to see him arrive.

"But he very quickly sneaked off to a corner and had a very quick chat with his mum before going inside to watch the film."

Thankfully Victoria was lenient with her eldest son, allowing him to stay out - a move which didn't go unnoticed by other guests who thought it was a considerate decision to alert his parents of his evening plans.

The source added: "It was very sweet and great to see that the family are as close as ever and are always checking in on each other."
