Coalition forces raid Taliban compound
US and coalition special operations troops have raided a suspected Taliban leadership compound in Afghanistan.
One person was killed in the raid and two others wounded as coalition troops detained more than 50 fighters.
The US and coalition troops were fired on when they entered the compound west of Kandahar.
One person was killed and two were wounded when the allies returned fire.
No American or coalition soldiers were hurt.
