Cork Constitution 22 Lansdowne 11

Cork Constitution full-back Conrad O'Sullivan grabbed a try double as they continued their fine form with a 22-11 dismissal of Lansdowne at Temple Hill.

A poor opening saw both kickers Pat McCarthy and Andy Tallon wayward with penalty attempts and it was 19 minutes until out-half Tallon opened the scoring for a 3-0 lead.

Two minutes later though, O'Sullivan broke clean through in midfield to score and hand Con an advantage they would never lose.

Rory Collins also got over in injury time for Brian Walsh's side as they led 12-3 at the break.

O'Sullivan tagged on his second, after the teams had swapped penalties, before another McCarthy effort was cancelled out by Lansdowne centre Niall Murphy's injury time consolation try.

Scorers: Cork: Tries: Conrad O'Sullivan 2, Rory Collins; Cons: Pat McCarthy 2; Pen: McCarthy

Lansdowne: Try: Niall Murphy; Pens: Andy Tallon 2
