This game was as good as over inside the opening 10 minutes when Kerry struck for two early goals from Liam Hassett and talented newcomer Colm Cooper.

By half-time Kerry led by 2-5 to 0-2 and Fermanagh's hopes of regaining a foothold in the match were killed off early in the second half with a sequence of points from Dara Ó Cinnéide, Eoin Brosnan and substitute Johnny Crowley.
