Tom Cooper’s Cheltenham challengers River Liane and Forpadydeplasterer are safely on British shores ahead of their big Festival dates.
With severe storms forecast to batter the country from Sunday evening until Tuesday, Cooper’s runners are happily ensconced at Prestbury Park.
The Irish handler said: “They arrived safely this morning at 5.30 and there’s not a bother on either of them.
“They’ve been kicking down the stable door for food.”
River Liane is a best-priced 9-2 with Coral for the Fred Winter Juvenile Novices’ Hurdle while Forpadydeplasterer is 16-1 with the same firm for the Anglo Irish Bank Supreme Novices’ Hurdle.
