Ulster Champions Derry recall Michael Conway at centre-back for Sunday's Ulster Hurling Final against Down at Casement Park.
Conway, who missed the semi-final win over London last week due to a knee injury, comes into the side in place of Fergal McEldowney, who drops to the bench.
Captain Colm McEldowney meanwhile is sent out to right half-back in a bid to deal with the threat of Down's Noel Sands.
Derry's provincial success last year was their first in 90 years.
Derry: Kieran Stevenson, Emmett McKeever, Conor Murray, Ryan Lynch, Colm McEldowney (Capt), Michael Conway, Benny Ward, Ronan McCloskey, Ollie Collins, Gary Biggs, Kieran McKeever, Gregory Biggs, Michael Collins, Geoffrey McGonigle, John O'Dwyer.
