Ireland U19s went down to Bangladesh in their final group match of the U19 World Cup's Plate Championship to leave the Irish facing a tough semi final draw against Australia.
After batting first Ireland could not find their batting form from the previous three matches and were bowled out for 141.
A number of players got starts but could not go on and make a significant contribution. Captain William Porterfield was top scorer with 34.
In reply Bangladesh passed the Irish total in 30 overs for the loss of 2 wickets (143 -2).
Ireland will now play Australia in the semi-final on Monday.
