New Swansea signing Gylfi Sigurdsson is in line to make his debut in tomorrow’s FA Cup third-round meeting with Barnsley at Oakwell.

New Swansea signing Gylfi Sigurdsson is in line to make his debut in tomorrow’s FA Cup third-round meeting with Barnsley at Oakwell.

The Iceland international joined on loan from Hoffenheim earlier this week and could be handed an immediate chance to impress with manager Brendan Rodgers set to make changes following the victory at Aston Villa.

Goalkeeper Gerhard Tremmel could also be handed a debut, four months after joining the club, with Michel Vorm set for a rest after excelling so far this term.

Provisional squad: Vorm, Williams, Taylor, Caulker, Britton, Orlandi, Graham, Sinclair, Dyer, Dobbie, Routledge, Monk, Lita, Moore, Bessone, Rangel, Allen, Tremmel, Agustien, Gower, Richards, Alfei, Sigurdsson.
