Roy Keane is out for three weeks with a hamstring strain sustained in the win over Leeds.

Quinton Fortune, matchwinner Mikael Silvestre and, possibly Juan Sebastian Veron also picked up knocks.

Veron will be assessed on Thursday after an ankle injury saw him limp off 10 minutes after the interval.

Alex Ferguson said: "We have hobbled through really.

"I was actually going to take Mikael off just before he scored because he had already missed with three headers. Fortunately he got a fourth.

"We had to batten down the hatches at the end but you have to give Leeds credit for that. We have a 10-day break coming up and the players deserve a rest now."
