Robbie Williams has spoken of his feelings towards Geri Halliwell and declared "I love her very much".
He fuelled further speculation that the couple are an item during an interview with Michael Parkinson to be shown on Saturday night.
Earlier this week, Williams told Radio 1 DJs Mark Radcliffe and Mark Riley that the pair were friends who occasionally slept together.
Asked by Parkinson if he was in love with Halliwell, Williams replied: "I am. I love her very much."
But he added with a cheeky smile: "She's my friend ... we keep you all guessing."
The two have become increasingly close since enjoying a holiday in the south of France last year.
At the Brit Awards in February Halliwell presented Williams with one of his awards and told the audience: "According to press reports he has been giving me one so now it's my turn to give him one."
Also in the Parkinson interview, the former Take That man told of his nerves about appearing on the famous chatshow.
"Since I found out I was doing it last week, I started doing this interview in my bed at two o'clock in the morning, and you were the pillow," he joked.
Williams also spoke candidly about his long battle with drink and drugs and said he did not know why he kept drinking.
