Restaurant employs robots to cook noodles

A Chinese restaurant is using robots to cook noodles.

Fan Ming, who owns the noodle eatery, in Nanping, Fujian Province, purchased the machines - which are tasked with slicing the noodles into boiling water - for €1,300 with the idea of attracting more custom due to their novelty.

The robots are made in the image of Japanese cartoon character Ultraman, which has led to "many" customers visiting the restaurant.

Fan explained: "Many people come here just to order the noodles made by the robots."
