Former Kildare midfielder Willie McCreery has been installed as Padraig Nolan's third selector in the Kildare senior football set-up.

McCreery retired through injury ahead of last year's championship campaign and was forced to hang up his boots despite Leinster medals in 1998 and 2000.

McCreery joins Declan Kerrigan and Pat Keatley in Nolan's backroom team.

Another ex-Lilywhite star, Mark Milham, joins U21 manager Peter McConnon as a selector.
