Fifteen dead as China bus overturns into ravine

Fifteen people were killed when a bus overturned and plunged into a ravine in south-west China today.

Fifteen people were killed when a bus overturned and plunged into a ravine in south-west China today.

The official Xinhua News Agency said 21 people were on board the bus when the accident happened on a mountain road in Sichuan province’s Aba prefecture at around noon local time today.

Six people injured in the accident were taken to hospital.

Aba has a large Tibetan population, but Xinhua did not give the ethnicity of the victims.
