Kieren Fallon misses meeting following gallops fall

Michael O'Callaghan is hoping Kieren Fallon will make a quick return to action following a fall on the gallops on Wednesday morning.

Fallon primarily rides for the Curragh handler and was due to partner two runners for the trainer at Fairyhouse this evening, as well as three mounts for other yards.

However, Fallon was forced to miss the meeting after a fall on the gallops.

O'Callaghan said: "Kieren took a fall on last lot this morning. He got a slap off the ground, and fingers crossed it doesn't take him too long to return.

"He's 51 now and hits the ground a bit harder than he used to."
