Norway has slapped a tax on milk and juice cartons in a drive to persuade producers and consumers to recycle more waste.

Norway has slapped a tax on milk and juice cartons in a drive to persuade producers and consumers to recycle more waste.

The government has pledged to remove the tax once recycling reaches the 95% mark.

Critics have expressed their fury because Norway already has one of best recycling rates in the world, currently standing at 60%.
