Bank of Ireland private banking has more than €5bn in assets under management and a loan book of €3bn, the bank said today.
Private banking is one of the highest growth businesses within the Bank of Ireland group. The bank said.
The company has close to €2bn of property under management on behalf of its clients. In addition to the UK market, private banking manages property assets in Belgium, France, Holland, Sweden and South Korea.
During 2006, Bank of Ireland private banking bought a number of properties to the value of nearly €1bn on behalf of private clients.
