Wexford are to challenge Cork's presence in the National Hurling League due to the Rebels' failure to fulfil their first two matches.
Under rules passed at Congress, Cork were originally due to be thrown out of the league this season, resulting in mandatory relegation.
Instead, they are due to meet Waterford in a quarter-final play-off after the two sides finished level on points.
Wexford, meanwhile, have been relegated automatically despite finishing level on points with Dublin.
Model County chairman Ger Doyle confirmed today that he would be bringing the matter to the DRA.
