Ireland will face an away trip to Moscow for the opening game of the European Championships qualification campaign later this year.
Mick McCarthy’s men will face Russia on either September 6th or 7th before a home game against Switzerland on either October 15th or 16th.
The Republic will then play two away games in the space of a week in early 2003, against Georgia on March 29th or 30th and against Albania on April 1st or 2nd.
The return game against Albania will take place on June 7th or 8th and the return game against Georgia on June 10th or 11th.
Russia will travel to Lansdowne Road for the penultimate game on September 6th or 7th before Ireland wrap up their campaign with an away match in Switzerland on October 11th or 12th.
