Doctors treat Clinton for suspected cancer

Doctors are treating President Clinton for suspected skin cancer after finding a small lesion on his back during a routine health check.

They say the condition can be treated on an out-patient basis and will not be a threat to his health.

After Mr Clinton's final presidential physical, doctors at the Bethesda Naval Hospital also stated that his cholesterol levels are up.

The President has blamed this on too much Christmas pudding.

Doctors says the spot was considered "very suspicious", so it was biopsied, and the results from the test will be released next week.

"He's had sun-damage spots before but this is the first time he's had spots suspected to be skin cancer," said Dr David Corbett.
