Ed Sheeran plans to celebrate his Grammy Award nomination with a new tattoo.
The 21-year-old singer is planning an inking if his track 'The A Team' wins the coveted Song of the Year prize at the US ceremony next February, but will also get another done beforehand, to mark his inclusion on the short list.
He said: "I'm gonna get a Grammy tattoo if I win a Grammy. I'm gonna get one anyway - a nomination, man, it's the s**t."
Ed celebrated his being included by partying with his boy band The Wanted - although he admits to having few memories of his evening with the group.
He told MTV News: "I got kidnapped by The Wanted boys. They took me on their tour bus and I found out after six or seven beers, which for me, I'm a very cheap date. I can't really handle too many beers. So I was in a state anyway and, yeah, I just had loads of giggle fits.
"I had bruises on me and stuff. I didn't know where they'd come from. It was a pretty mental night."
Despite his happiness at being nominated, Ed doesn't believe he will win the award, as he thinks fun. Will take triumph on the night for their track 'We Are Young'.
He said: "I don't necessarily think I will win. I think fun. Will probably get it. Fun.'s [song] was huge. I haven't even had a hit with this song yet. I was surprised to be nominated. So I'm more than happy with what I've got."
